Our Mission

Parent Services Center seeks to improve the quality of life for families through programs designed to develop or improve parenting skills, interpersonal relationships, and family life.

While encouraging, educating, and supporting families, we also strive to reinforce parents commitment to their children and families by instilling pro-social values such as integrity, honesty, diversity, kindness, respect for others, personal responsibility, and helpfulness.  These are qualities we believe to be essential to leading compassionate and productive lives in our community and society.

Parent Education Classes

Parent Services Center provides parenting classes on a wide range of topics ranging from birth through young adulthood.  Normal developmental issues as well as specialized subjects are addressed.  The programs are conducted by caring professional staff and volunteers who have the skills, educational qualifications and expertise to make a difference in the life of a family.  Classes are open to parents, foster parents, childcare providers, grandparents, teachers and mental health professionals.  Advanced registration is required.  Classes are provided free of charge and certificates of attendance are provided.
