2010 Parenting Conference

KidWISE:

"More tools to help us impact the lives of children"

Many participants gave delighted reviews of the KidWISE conference with Paula Statman which was held March 6, 2010, at the First Christian Church Family Life Center. "This conference gave great, new insight that we can take home and to our classrooms," stated one participant. Close to 200 parents, foster parents, childcare providers, mental health professionals and teachers were in attendance.

Statman, noted author, educator, psychotherapist and founder of KidWISE Institute, Inc., provided information regarding practical tools for promoting responsible, resilient and resourceful children.  She actively engaged her audience in a variety of participatory demonstrations and activities as attendees learned ideas for helping children grow into happy, independent and productive individuals.
